PowerPi ITXPower Open-Source Power Module

PowerPi ITXPower is an open-source power conversion module designed to give unused PC power supplies a new purpose. It converts low-voltage input, including the 12V output from ATX and SFX power supplies, into a stable 48V DC output for high-power PD 3.1 fast-charging systems.

Built around an ITX-compatible form factor, the module can be installed in standard PC cases, compact chassis, CNC-machined enclosures, or 3D-printed housings. It supports a wide range of power sources, including ATX, SFX, 1U, 2U, CRPS server power supplies, and laptop power adapters.

Depending on component selection and cooling design, the ITXPower platform can support system power levels from 200W to 2000W. Multiple input interfaces are planned, including 24-pin, 10-pin, XT60, XT30, DC5525, and square power connectors, with 48V output through XT60.

With its open-source design, flexible compatibility, and high-power architecture, ITXPower provides an efficient and cost-effective solution for DIY fast chargers, power testing platforms, and other high-power DC applications.
