Preface
The PowerPi X240C high‑power buck‑boost fast‑charging module is now officially available. It features a universal XT60 DC input connector for easy and stable wiring, and its single USB‑C port delivers up to 240W of output power. Built around a buck‑boost architecture with multiple filtering and safety protection circuits, the module supports a wide 12–56V DC input range, ensuring both high‑power output stability and broad compatibility. It is ideal for test scenarios such as hardware R&D, laboratory aging fixtures, and DIY modifications.
New Product Showcase
The front layout of the PowerPi X240C fast‑charging module is clearly arranged: on the right, the XT60 connector serves as the high‑voltage input, accompanied by two 100V filter capacitors; in the middle sits the EPC1770 high‑power inductor and power bridge; on the left, the Type‑C port provides 240W fast‑charge output, with film capacitors for voltage stabilization on both the primary and secondary sides.
The silkscreen on the back of the PowerPi X240C fast‑charging module lists hardware parameters and chip solutions:
Model: X240C
Input Specs IN: DC 12–56V
Output Specs OUT: 5–48V
Bottom Overlay: SCV88062 + SC81A10E + HUSB253
The PowerPi X240C fast‑charging module measures 86.14 × 82.60 × 15.15 mm and weighs approximately 55.2g, fitting comfortably in the palm of one hand.
After power‑on, using the POWER‑Z KM003C to read protocols, the PowerPi X240C is found to be compatible with mainstream fast‑charging protocols including QC3.0, FCP, SCP, PD3.1, PD3.2, AVS, PPS, QC5, DCP, and Apple 2.4A.
The PDO profiles show that the USB‑C port of the PowerPi X240C offers seven fixed voltage levels (5V, 9V, 15V, 20V, 28V, 36V, 48V), one PPS voltage range (5.0–21.0V @ 5.0A), and two AVS adaptive voltage ranges (9–20V @ 3.00A / 5.00A, and 15.00–48.00V @ 240W). Both the fixed and adaptive profiles support up to 240W output.
During a 240W load test, the input side was monitored with the PowerPi XT1000 at a set input of 36V. Measured input power was 35.83V × 6.95A = 249.30W; the output side was monitored by the POWER‑Z KM003C, showing 47.85V × 5.01A = 240.25W. The overall conversion efficiency reached 96.36%, demonstrating extremely low loss under high‑power operation.
