Test Tutorial


1. The PowerPi X140C-C uses XT30 and XT60 dual inputs and a USB-C single output interface, supports 5-30V wide voltage input, can provide stable boost and buck PD3.1 140W output, and is compatible with many mainstream fast charge protocols.

2. This test uses the PowerPi P480X power adapter board along with the PowerPi XT1000 for real-time power monitoring.

3. Use the XT60 adapter cable to connect the above setup with the PowerPi X140C-C.

4. After connecting the load and starting power, the PowerPi X140C-C shows an input power of ~11.75V 12.21A 143.64W, and an output power of 27.71V 4.83A 134.10W.

Additional Notes


1. You can use the POWER-Z KM003C to monitor the output power of this setup in real-time.

2. Using the dedicated PowerPi X140C-C fast charge module kit, you can implement 50°C cutoff, with integrated KSD9700 series thermal protectors and 3010 high-speed fans.

Precautions:
1. PowerPi X140C-C uses XT30 and XT60 dual inputs and a USB-C single output interface; reverse connection is not supported.
2. The XT60 (IN) input on the PowerPi P480X is a daisy-chain interface and is only for expansion.
3. PowerPi P480X supports soft-start and one-way conduction design; it only allows input (IN) to output (OUT) conduction, does not support reverse connection, and has no additional protection.
