PowerPi ITXPower Open Source Project Physical Demo

Feb 6, 2026 PowerPi.com

Recently, the PowerPi open-source team reached a key milestone with their ITXPower project, developed based on a PC ITX motherboard, officially entering the prototyping, testing, and debugging stage!

The motherboard shown in the picture is one of the prototypes for this open-source project. It features the YX2265 chip, supports a wide input voltage range of 5-42V, and provides 48V output with a rated power of 600W. The core chip and various interfaces are neatly arranged, perfectly fitting the standard ITX form factor while achieving high-density integration of the power conversion circuit through precise wiring, striking a balance between performance and practical experience. We will continue to iterate and optimize the project, and the final version for release will be subject to the official launch.

As an open-source hardware project, we warmly invite hardware enthusiasts and open-source community friends to witness its growth together. Feel free to leave comments and share your thoughts and expectations about the PowerPi ITXPower open-source project!
