PowerPi C550X Tutorial for Using with CRPS Server Power Supply

Jul 22, 2026 PowerPi.com

Demo Equipment for This Test

Adapter Board: PowerPi C550X
Output device: CRPS server power supply

Test Tutorial

1. For this test, the prototype used is the Huntkey HK800B-S1 800W CRPS Platinum server power supply. Related reading: Huntkey 800W CRPS Platinum Silicon Carbide Server Power Supply

2. Locate the 50-pin standard CRPS gold finger connector on the power supply side.

3. Align the 50-pin gold finger of the power supply with the 50-pin power input on the PowerPi C550X and fully insert.

4. Find the soft-start switch on the adapter board.

5. Flip it to the ON position; the LED indicator lights up as normal.

6. Once connected, each XT60 output interface will output 12V.

Additional notes

1. You can connect a power meter to the XT60 interface to monitor conduction power in real time.

2. Using the PowerPi XT1000 tester makes it easy to monitor the power status of multiple interfaces.

Precautions

1. Make sure the CRPS power supply is working properly and functioning normally, with no abnormal output.
2. The XT60 (IN) input interface of the PowerPi C550X is a cascading interface for expansion use.
3. The PowerPi C550X supports soft start and one-way conduction design. It only allows conduction from input (IN) to output (OUT), does not support reverse connection, and has no additional protection.
4. The test data here is for reference only.
