PowerPi has launched the brand new X140C series fast charging module, model X140C-C. It features dual input interfaces XT30 and XT60, along with a USB-C output interface. The module can deliver up to 140W of power and is compatible with mainstream fast charging protocols such as PD 3.1 EPR, QC5.0/3.0, UFCS, SCP, FCP, and AFC.

The PowerPi X140C-C fast charging module measures only 103.32×33.95×22.22mm and weighs 41.7g. It is equipped with the Injoinic IP6557 buck-boost controller, supports a wide 5-30V input, and provides a PD3.1 peak output of 140W. It’s suitable for various fast charging device development and applications, making it ideal for phones, tablets, drones, laptops, power banks, model aircraft, and DIY products, offering high performance and convenience for high-power fast charging scenarios.

The module’s two input interfaces are connected in parallel, and it’s recommended to use just one interface at a time. If you want to use both as inputs simultaneously, make sure the voltages are the same. In high-temperature environments, when testing with a 140W load, it’s recommended to add a cooling fan or a 12V1A LDO externally attached fan on the board. At full 140W (28V5A) load, output ripple is around 60mV. The chip has built-in overvoltage, undervoltage, and output overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit protection. GPIO pins have been routed to the back of the PCB for customization.
